  • Welders Card

• Competency unit/qualification code must match exactly

• Must be Issued by an RTO with Nationally Recognised Training logo

• Black and white or colour is acceptable

• Scanned document to be clearly legible

Note: If a card is supplied there must be a copy of the front and back displaying the units of competency, person's name, issue date as above and must be issued by an RTO.

• The worker’s name shown on the document should match the worker’s registered name in Onsite. First name initial and surname is acceptable

• A weld test report must be submitted

• The document will need to mention Certificate Welding AS/NZS 1554.1

• Must have a C for competent

• Black and white or colour is acceptable

• Scanned document to be clearly legible

• This is the evidence required for the Boilermaker - Advanced Role

• Issue Date to be recorded (when shown on document)

• We can accept evidence in the form of a certificate, a licence / membership card or a letter

• A weld test report is also acceptable. It has to mention either AS-NZS 1554.1 or AS/NZS 2980 or ISO 9606 and must have a C for competent

• Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted

• Must be clear and legible

• Issue date to be recorded (when shown on document)

• Expiration date to be recorded in Onsite ONLY when there is an expiration date recorded on the evidence

Welder.Certificate.Welding Supervisor – AS 1796 Certificate 10 (50yrs validity)

• First and last name must match applicant's name in Onsite.

• Shortened versions of first names are accepted, such as:
  "Chris" instead of "Christopher"
  "Wil" instead of "William"

• Shortened versions of last names are accepted, such as:
  "Herrera" instead of "Herrera Trujillo"
  "Mohd" instead of "Raza Hasan Mohd"

• A certificate or card can be accepted

• If card is uploaded, both sides of card should be displayed in uploaded file

• Evidence must be issued by a registered training organisation (RTO)

• Black and white or colour copy can be accepted

• Issue Date = Date of completion

• Expiry Date = 50 years from issue date

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

• Samples of Accepted Course Titles / Coding:

  • Welder, First Class (Boilermaking)

  • Sheet Metal (First Class)

• Must be an Australian issued qualification - international qualifications are not accepted.

• Must be clearly scanned and legible

Welder.Qualified.WA (Weld Australia) – Certified Welding Inspector

• Evidence will be a certificate or card showing completion of 'Welding Inspector' or 'Welding Supervisor'

• Evidence will be issued by Welding Qualification and Certification Boards such as WTIA: Welding Technology Institute of Australia or Weld Australia

• Evidence from CSWIP (UK) can also be accepted but must contain Document CSWIP-WI-6-92 as per example
